The European Defence Fund serves as the Commission’s instrument for R&D in defence and has a budget of nearly €8 billion for the 2021-2027 period to support projects in critical domains. The 2024 EDF work programme includes six thematic calls and two SME-focused calls with €1.1 billion earmarked for different projects in critical domains.
Organised by Luxinnovation with the support of the Luxembourg Directorate of Defence, this Info Day will provide attendees with valuable insights into the opportunities available through this significant tool. We will explore the application process for several calls for proposals, eligibility criteria, and the strategic priorities outlined by the European Defence Fund.
Taking place onsite for the first time, this edition will facilitate networking opportunities and allow several stakeholders to connect, collaborate, and explore potential partnerships to drive innovation and strengthen Europe’s defence capabilities.
