Luxinnovation, Medical Valley, EIT Health, and DMAC organise the European Digital HealthTech Conference that brings together digital health professionals and ecosystem players to share best practices that optimise support to digital medical device companies from incubation to market access.

Digital medical devices are a cornerstone of the healthcare sector and have great potential for patients and healthcare providers. Ensuring that high-potential devices succeed with the journey from initial concept to commercialisation is a priority to ensure European patients have access to the latest technologies.

Following the success of the 2023 edition, the European Digital Healthtech Conference will explore the most recent advancements in terms of regional, national and European initiatives to facilitate market access for digital health companies in Europe. It will focus on:

  • The challenges of collecting and accessing patient data
  • The development of robust business models in digital health
  • The journey towards certification and reimbursement
  • Good practices for the clinical validation of digital technologies
  • Different funding pathways from research to commercialisation

The conference kicks off with an opening address on 14 May by Minister of the Economy, SME, Energy and Tourism, Lex Delles. It also includes three B2B matchmaking sessions, engaging roundtable discussions and presentations, a networking cocktail, and more.

Call for panellists

Companies developing digital medical technologies and support players from across Europe are warmly encouraged to share their experiences and best practices during several roundtables focused on business model use cases in digital health, certification and market access, clinical validation and the adoption of digital technologies by patients and society, and funding instruments for each development stage of digital health technologies. The call for speakers will close on 16 April 2024.
