Each year, ACEA compiles the Automobile Industry Pocket Guide in order to provide a clear and complete overview of one of Europe’s most important industries. It contains the most commonly sought after figures, tables and statistics about the EU and global auto industries.
The 2017-2018 edition contains the latest figures on employment and trade, innovation, the environmental performance of our sector, as well as vehicle production, registration, use and taxation.
On 5 October, during the Automotive Day event, centred around the theme of the transition to sustainable mobility, California-based startup Lyten specialising in advanced electric vehicle batteries and composite materials, signed a memorandum of understanding to establish its European headquarters in Luxembourg.
