The European Commission aims to ensure coherence between industrial, environmental, climate and energy policy to create an optimal business environment for sustainable growth, job creation and innovation. To achieve this goal, the research and innovation strategy for industrial sustainability covers the whole value chain, from raw materials, to production processes, to energy generation, and waste treatment. Several actors and agencies are indeed involved in this process.
The aim of the workshop is to provide the stakeholders in the industrial value chain with information about the opportunities in H2020 to support their research strategies related to industrial sustainability, digitalisation, and use of raw materials. We will highlight policies, future calls for proposals, main actors and key events to attend. The event is targeted mostly to industries, but all the interested players are welcome.
